Dance
School employs an expert dance teacher who teaches dance to each year group
throughout the year! The children learn different styles of dance and creatively
compose their own!
Dance performances often feature in our annual ‘St Kent’s Got Talent’ show!
Our creative teachers provide cross-curricular dance opportunities to consolidate
children’s learning in other subjects. E.g. Science ‘The Water Cycle!’
As a whole school we have celebrated ‘International Dance Day’ in April and
featured children learning and showcasing dances from Ireland, Spain and India on
our online learning platform Seesaw.
We have many talented Irish dancers in our school who enthusiastically dance their
way through our school St Patrick Day celebrations!
